Martynenko, Anatoliy Borysovych
- In 1995 he graduated from the Ternopil Medical Institute, specialization: General Medicine. Internship in the specialization of Ophthalmology.
- Since 1999 he was appointed to the position of the emergency aid ophthalmologist, ophthalmology department of O. F. Herbachevsky Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital, the same year he was promoted to the position of the ophthalmologist of the eye microsurgery department.
- Since 2005 he has had the higher qualification category in the specialization: Ophthalmology; one of the leading surgeons of the eye microsurgery center of O. F. Herbachevsky Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital.
- Since 2009 he has combined the work of the leading microsurgeon of the ophthalmology departments of Berdychiv and Korosten hospitals, Zhytomyr region. Since 2002 he has combined the work in state institutions and private medical clinics as a practicing microsurgeon (Eye Therapy and Microsurgery Center in Donetsk, Eye Therapy and Microsurgery Center in Kyiv, Medivit Clinic in Ternopil, etc.)
- Since 2011 – the head doctor of Klinika Zir private enterprise; one of Ukrainian microsurgeons with the highest qualification. The level of his professionalism is highly esteemed by the most experienced colleagues and representatives of the companies, dealing with novel ophthalmological equipment, the work of which he represents as a specialist.
Regardless of a wide scope of practical activity, Anatoliy Martynenko has been working at his professional development:
- In 1998 he studied the novel technology of cataract extraction using phacoemulsification with the implantation of a foldable lens in Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
- In 2000 he was one of a few surgeons in Ukraine, who started using the novel phacoemulsification procedure for cataract extraction in the eye microsurgery department of O. F. Herbachevsky Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital in accordance to current world standards.
- In 2002 he went to the State Institution of Inter-industry Scientific and Technological Complex of Eye Microsurgery, Saint-Petersburg, Russia, to master his skills of cataract extraction using phacoemulsification procedure.
- Great skills of working with all the current equipment, represented in Ukraine by such companies as Bausch&Lomb Millenium, Stellaris; Alcon Infiniti, Legacy, Laureat, Accurus; AMO Compact and Ortly. Permanent participant of regional and international conferences, symposia, and congresses of ophthalmologists.
- A considerable amount of surgeries in extraction of secondary cataracts using YAG-laser.
- Since 2005 he is a full member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and attends its annual meetings. (1998 Prague, 2005 Paris, 2006 London, 2007 Stockholm, 2008 Lisbon, 2009 Barcelona, 2010 Paris, 2011 Vienna, 2012 Milan).
- In 2006 he made a real-time presentation of his practical activity at the Live Surgery conference of Bausch&Lomb with the participation of the best Ukrainian and foreign microsurgeons.
- Since 2010 he is a full member and active participant of the meetings of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS) (2010 Boston, 2012 Chicago).
- In 2010 he acquired the skills of vitreoretinal surgery in the State Institution of Inter-industry Scientific and Technological Complex of Eye Microsurgery, Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and introduced this surgery into the work agenda of the eye microsurgery center of O. F. Herbachevsky Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital.
- He is a PhD candidate (Medicine) in the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Study. The author of two utility model patents and over 10 innovation proposals in ophthalmology. He published a number of articles and scientific reports (Filatov Readings, Odesa – 2009; Modern Methods of Diagnostics and Treatment in Ophthalmology, Kharkiv – 2008; Modern Aspects of Clinical Findings, Diagnostics and Treatment of Eye Diseases, Odesa – 2008; Ukrainian Medical Anthology, Volume 10, No. 6, Lugansk – 2007; Ophthalmology Journal No. 6, Odesa – 2007; Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Pharmacotherapy in Ophthalmology”, Kharkiv – 2007).
